COVID-19 Patient Update

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made some changes to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and doctors.

PATIENT TREATMENT AREA MEASURES

  • Regular and ongoing disinfection of our common areas and high-contact surfaces.
  • EPA-registered, medical-grade antiviral products to disinfect areas, effective against COVID-19 and other viruses.
  • Air purifiers using HEPA filters for filtering the air throughout the entire office.
  • Central air purifier installed in our central AC system with high-level filters.
  • Protective Plexiglas barriers at the reception desk.
  • Temperature scanners and mask requirement when entering our building.
  • Added full personal protective equipment gear with N95 mask respirators, face shields, and gowns for clinical staff as appropriate

UNIVERSAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES

Our office follows the highest standards of infection control precautions developed and enforced by the US Center on Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and California Dental Board.

  • We will ask some health screening questions on the phone and when you arrive.
  • We have hand sanitizer for you to use when you enter our office.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for physical distancing between patients to accommodate new practice guidelines.
  • For some procedures you may be asked to be tested for COVID-19 and bring documentation of the results.
  • Temperature readings. Everyone entering the building is screened with a no-touch temperature screen scanner.
  • Hydrogen peroxide-based mouth rinse. Each patient will be asked to rinse with antiviral hydrogen peroxide-based solution before their examination.
  • We kindly ask that only patients with an appointment enter our office unless there is a clear reason for someone to accompany the patient.
  • To protect our patients and staff, no one with symptoms, temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or refusal to wear a mask will be allowed to enter our dental health center.

From all of us, thank you for being our patient and for your continued patience and understanding during these unprecedented times. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing you soon.
