Dental Implants

At Union City Dental Care Center, we provide dental implants as an option to replace lost teeth with natural-looking restorations to give you a confident smile.

Patients require implants for a variety of reasons, including congenitally missing teeth and teeth lost due to a trauma. Dental implants are artificial roots, usually made of titanium, that serve as an anchor for replacement teeth. Implants may be used to replace one or several missing teeth and hold complete dentures securely against the gums. We provide dental implant placement of crowns, bridges, dentures, and partial dentures, as well as follow-up and maintenance to ensure the continued success of the implant treatment.

What to expect at your first visit

If this is your first visit with us, you will receive a comprehensive oral health exam and a full set of X-rays will be taken. Molds of your mouth may also be needed.  In our initial examination, we examine both teeth and risk factors that contribute to possible formation of dental caries (cavities). We then confer with you on your needs and expectations. Eventually, we will discuss treatment options, a timeline for treatment and costs and payment options. In some cases, multiple appointments are necessary.
